A few weeks ago, I posted about the interesting case of Marcus v. Rogers in the Superior Court of New Jersey, which involved an employee accidentally bumping a co-worker’s computer and gaining access to the co-worker’s e-mails. Following that post, I had the chance to speak with Colin O’Keefe of LXBN-TV regarding the Marcus case. In the brief Skype interview, I explained the almost straight-out-of-TV facts of that case, the nature of the court’s decision, and some lessons that employers can learn from it.
